May 2017: Shadows Concert

Shadows Concert 2017 CopyJairah Funds organised a Shadows Music Night at 56 Stock Street, Paisley on Friday 5th May 2017. Tickets were £6 and all proceeds went towards our latest project, 'Solar powered lamps for families in Orissa'. The night was a great success with everyone who attended enjoying themselves with good music. Raggy was able to talk about the lamps and explain the difference they make to families that don't have any electricity. £600 was raised which was a great encouragement to everyone involved at Jairah Funds!

April 2017: Raggy and Sam Sponsored Walk

Raggy Kiltwalk 2017One of our trustees, Raggy Ram, along with long term supporter, Sam Muwena, took part in a 15 mile sponsored walk to raise money for Jairah Funds! The walk was organised by Kiltwalk on Sunday 30th April and started in Clydebank and ended in Balloch. All money raised by Raggy will go towards our social work and water wells project in Pakistan, while the money raised by Sam will go towards our social work in Ghana. November 2016: Coffee Morning

In November 2016, Jairah Funds organised a coffee morning in Stock Street, Paisley. It was a chance to have conversations with our supporters who attended, as well as a good way to end the year. £995 was raised which went towards the work of Jairah Funds!

 

October 2016: Charity Dinner

In October 2016, Jairah Funds organised a charity dinner to raise funds and awareness for our house rebuilding project in Orissa India. The evening was held at the Corinthian in Glasgow and was a great success as we raised just over £1,500 for the project! The evening consisted of an Indian themed buffet and acts, a prized raffle and auction and finally a presentation on the work being done in Orissa

April 2016: Raggy Sponsored Walk

One of our trustees, Raggy Ram, took part in a 26 mile sponsored walk to raise money for Jairah Funds! Raggy through sponsorship from many different people was able to raise around £2000. The walk started in Glasgow and ended in Balloch with all money raised going towards our overcoming poverty projects in Pakistan.

March 2016: Shadows Concert

Shadows Concert 2016Jairah Funds organised a Shadows Music Night at Stock Street Church on Saturday 19th March. All proceeds went towards our newest project overcoming poverty in the middle east. All who attended enjoyed a evening of good music and we learned of the work of a retired Scottish teacher who helps refugees in the middle east and also teaches young children.

» 24th April 2016:  Raggy Sponsored Walk

One of our trustees, Raggy Ram, is taking part in a 26 mile sponsored walk to raise money for Jairah Funds! The walk starts in Glasgow and ends in Ballach and all money raised will go towards our overcoming poverty projects in Jordan and Pakistan.

Jairah Funds are organising a Shadows Music Night at Stock Street Church on Saturday 19th March. Tickets are £5 and all proceeds with go towards our newest projects overcoming poverty in Jordan and Pakistan. We hope the evening can be a chance to listen to good music as well as raising awareness for these new projects!

In December 2015, Jairah Funds organised a coffee morning in Paisley. It was a good opportunity to have conversations with our supporters who attended and a good way to end the year. £281 was raised which all went towards our Brazilian projects!

» 4th September 2015:  Sponsored London to Paris Cycle

One of our supporters, Sam, is taking part in a sponsored cycle from London to Paris in September this year. Follow along at the link above for updates, or sponsor her event! The donations will be used to help Jairah Funds.
